Hi, I’m Deja! The founder of Driving with Dej.
I fell in love with automotive work while rotating through dealerships, parts counters, and body shops during college and after graduation. When someone told me learning collision repair was a waste of time, I leaned in even harder— enrolling in auto-collision school and getting hands-on experience with real repairs. The more I learned, the more I realized how often drivers are left confused after an accident—uncertain about what to do next, what insurance actually covers, and what questions to ask.
I’m a proud 2020 graduate of Barry Tech Auto Collision School. I’m trained as an Auto Body Technician, hold an I-CAR Platinum credential, and I’m a pending New York State Auto Damage Adjuster.
With hands-on experience in fleet operations, I bring practical, real-world education that helps drivers understand their options and feel confident throughout the process. My role is to educate you so you can advocate for yourself—I’m not a repair facility, insurer, or claims representative.
